OUR VISION

St. Raymond Catholic Community exists to become a people set on fire with the Holy Spirit going joyfully into the world to bring the love of Jesus Christ to all.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit (Galatians 5:25) as missionary disciples in our homes, in our church, and throughout our community.

THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE SPIRIT…

ARE ENLIGHTENED BY THE SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you. (John 14:25)

We study the Bible and Christian tradition to become mature disciples of Jesus.

We engage the diverse ways of Christian prayer to deepen our relationship with God.

We accompany each other on our faith journey to grow in unity as the Body of Christ.

ARE GATHERED BY THE SPIRIT

In Christ, you are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:22)

We come together in inspiring worship to celebrate the Word of God and the Eucharist.

We live in solidarity through prayer for our families, friends, neighbors, and the world.

We serve one another with radical hospitality and inclusivity.

ARE CALLED BY THE SPIRIT

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual, the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit. (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)

We promote justice and dignity for all human beings.

We seek to create unity through forgiveness and love.

We offer our unique spiritual gifts as instruments for the mission Jesus has given us.

All of you who were baptized in Christ have clothed yourself with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free person, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:27-28)
